Lucens, in the beautiful Valley of the Broye (between Lausanne and Bern) is a good starting point for hikes, bicycle rides and horseback riding (available nearby). It´s also a pleasant stop for pilgrims on the Road to Compostella.

We named our former milk and cheese factory "LA VOIE LACTEE" (The Milky Way) as a reminder of its former use. It is located just below the impressive medieval castle that dominates the little town. You will find us opposite the Café de l'Hôtel de Ville; just a 3 minute walk from the train station. Three bedrooms in the attic that were once used by the apprentice cheese makers, are now at your disposal. Breakfast with home made products is served in the old cheese laboratory. We have baby and children's beds available. A television, internet connections, either hard-wired or Wi-fi and a guest computer (a Mac) are at your disposal. It will be our joy to welcome you here.
